At least 6 injured, multiple critically, after an active shooter situation at a business in Bryan, Texas, according to police scanner.
The Bryan Police Department in the U.S. state of Texas says a number of individuals have sustained injuries in an active shooting incident in the Brazos County Industrial Park. A large police response is currently underway.
According to police, Jane Long Intermediate School was placed under a perimeter seal. Students were not released until further notice from the school.
The suspect, who was reportedly armed with a semi-automatic rifle, fled the scene, according to police. According to local media, Jane Long Intermediate School was put on lockdown as a precaution.
Large number of emergency services have reached the area of the incident.
When officers arrived, the incident was already over, and at least six ambulances were dispatched to the scene to assist the victims.
“The Bryan Police Department and local first responders responded to a shooting at 350 Stone City Dr. Officers on scene found several victims. All victims were transported to local hospitals. The suspect is still at large. This is still an active investigation,” Bryan Police Department wrote in a tweet.
According to reports, Texas State Police chased a vehicle following mass shooting in Bryan, Texas; at least one trooper was shot.
The injured trooper has been transported to St Joseph Hospital.

UPDATE 18:00 EST: According to reports, one person has died. The suspect, who has been arrested, was an employee of Kent Moor Cabinets.
