Following the downtown shooting that left five people dead and eight injured on Monday, Louisville Metro police officers were called to another reported shooting outside Jefferson Community and Technical College (JCTC).
At approximately 11:07 a.m., the call was received and Louisville Metro Police Department is currently working towards obtaining more information, WLKY reported.

According to the police, two individuals were shot outside a building owned by the Jefferson Community and Technical College, resulting in one fatality and one injury.
The deceased individual was identified as a man, while the condition of the injured person transported to UofL Hospital remains unknown at this time, with no updates available, WLKY reported.
Louisville Police have confirmed that there is no active shooter situation at Jefferson Community and Technical College (JCTC).
Authorities initially responded to a call of an active threat on campus at 8th Street and Chestnut Street, but it appears to have been an isolated shooting incident, and the suspects fled the scene before authorities arrived.

As of now, the suspects have not been taken into custody. And it has been confirmed that this incident is not connected to the tragic shooting that occurred at the Old National Bank.
