Berlin doctor suspected of killing eight elderly patients: prosecutors

German investigators believe a doctor earlier accused of killing four elderly patients was responsible for eight deaths, prosecutors said Thursday.

The suspect, 40, who worked in palliative care for a nursing service, was remanded in custody in August on suspicion of killing four patients and has now been linked to another four deaths, the Berlin prosecutors said.
