US President Joe Biden said Friday that he refused to believe “America’s greatness is a thing of the past”, as he delivered a symbolic speech in support of freedom at the D-Day site of Pointe du Hoc in Normandy.
“I refuse to believe… I simply refuse to believe that America’s greatness is a thing of the past,” Biden said in a thinly veiled dig at former president Donald Trump, who has claimed America is in decline.
