Call of Duty is one of the world’s best-selling game franchises. However, the COD Warzone ‘Dev Error 5476’ bug has become a huge issue for millions of players.
If you are a fan of the COD: Warzone or Modern Warfare you must have faced or at least heard of ‘Dev Error 5476’. It pops up when someone tries to join multiplayer and Warzone lobbies.
The error had been appearing for both COD: Warzone and COD: Modern Warfare gamers. It initially surfaced two years ago, only some months prior to the release of COD: Black Ops Cold War.
Raven Software fixed the issue last year, but it has appeared again to haunt the players. The COD Warzone ‘Dev Error 5476’ makes the game unplayable. An immediate fix will put the players’ worries at bay.
“Is everyone else Warzone is broke, I’m on PS5, and nonstop every time I load in, I get a “DEV ERROR 5476” I have even restarted my PS5.. this might just be about brick it,” a user complained on Reddit and tagged the company.
Players further suggested that the company should fix the bug once and for all so that they don’t have to resort to workarounds.
How to fix COD Warzone ‘Dev Error 5476’
The game has been around since 2003. Loyal players are searching for ways to still keep playing their favorite video games.
Some Reddit users shared solutions to fix the error.
“Everybody getting DEV Error 5476 on PS5, go into account settings and disable crossplay, let me in straight away!” one user posted.
Another suggested to open up modern warfare multiplayer and then try again. “I had to reinstall multiplayer and once I reinstalled it I got into a warzone without even logging into multiplayer,” the player posted.
Raven Software took note of the issue with COD Warzone ‘Dev Error 5476’ and is investigating it. However, their has been no new update since their tweet posted last Thursday.
