Denmark reports gas leak near Nord Stream 2 route: official

Denmark’s maritime traffic agency reported a gas leak in the Baltic Sea on Monday near the route of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline.

The gas leak, southeast of the Danish island of Bornholm, “is dangerous for maritime traffic” and “navigation is prohibited within a five nautical mile radius of the reported position”, the authority said in a notice to ships.
