A gas leak has forced the evacuation of Parker High School.
While the leak is being repaired, students are being sent home and will learn remotely.
At 9:35 a.m. Monday, Birmingham City Schools confirmed the leak on their Twitter page. The reason for the leak was not mentioned in the announcement.
“Parker High was evacuated due to a gas leak. Students will learn remotely while the leak is being repaired today.”
There have been no reported injuries.
