Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said Monday that street protests triggered by his decision to shelve Tbilisi’s negotiations on joining the EU would not spark a “revolution” in the Black Sea country.

“I remind everyone that there will be no revolution in Georgia,” Kobakhidze told reporters, as he accused the opposition of tying to stage a Ukraine-style pro-EU uprising funded from abroad.
