German leader urges US Congress to pass Ukraine aid ‘very soon’

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz urged the US Congress on Friday to approve a delayed aid package for Ukraine’s fight against Russian invasion “very soon.”

“Without US help, the situation in Ukraine would be very complicated,” he told a press conference in Washington ahead of meeting President Joe Biden.
