US President Joe Biden’s son Hunter was convicted in his federal gun trial for lying on a firearm application form and his “illegal choices” while addicted to crack cocaine, the lead prosecutor said Tuesday after the verdict.
“This case was about the illegal choices the defendant made while in the throes of addiction, his choice to lie on a government form when he bought a gun, and the choice to then possess that gun,” special counsel David Weiss, who brought the case against Hunter Biden, told reporters.
