Iran says death toll from war with Israel reaches 1,060: state TV

Iranian state media reported Monday that the death toll in Iran following the 12-day war with Israel has risen to at least 1,060.

“Regarding the martyrs, as of tonight, we have buried 1,060 loved ones across the country,” Saeed Ohadi, head of the Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans Affairs said in an interview with state TV.
