Iranian state media announced it will broadcast a video message from Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Thursday — his first public statement since a ceasefire ended Iran’s 12-day war earlier this week.
“The third video message by Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei addressed to the Iranian nation will be published in a few minutes,” the official IRNA news agency reported.
Khamenei last appeared in pre-recorded video messages on June 13 — the day Israel launched its offensive — and again on June 18, prior to the ceasefire that took effect on Tuesday.
