JetBlue flight 312 rolled into grass off the runway after landing at Boston Logan International Airport on Thursday, according to officials.
Massachusetts Port Authority confirmed that there were no injuries.
Passengers were observed disembarking the Airbus A220 using stairs.
“The runway is closed at this time as the aircraft is assessed and passengers are bussed to the terminal,” Massachusetts Port Authority said in a statement, ABC 13 reported.
JetBlue Flight 312 had flown in from Chicago O’Hare International Airport.
Tyesha Best, president of the Transport Workers Union of America Local 579, confirmed that the union is “aware of the event.” The union represents JetBlue flight attendants.
“All crew and customers are safe,” Best said in a statement to CNN. “We remain in contact with the company to provide all needed support for those affected.”
On Thursday, the Federal Aviation Administration issued a ground stop at the airport due to the emergency, CNN reported.
The Federal Aviation Administration announced it will be conducting an investigation into the incident.
