Marshall Islands President Hilda Heine said Tuesday the Pacific island nation would “remain a staunch ally” of Taiwan, during talks with her Taiwanese counterpart Lai Ching-te.
“I wish to assure you that the Republic of the Marshall Islands will remain a staunch ally and continue to voice and support Taiwan’s inclusion in the United Nations and all other regional and international organisations,” Heine said during Lai’s visit to the capital Majuro.
