The death toll of 15 in the New Orleans attack includes the driver of the truck that barreled into crowds of New Year revelers, the FBI said Thursday.
The toll first given after the attack in the wee hours of Wednesday did not specify that attack suspect Shamsud-Din Jabbar was among the 15, FBI deputy assistant director Christopher Raia told a news conference.
Jabbar died in a shootout with police after ramming his car into crowds of revelers.
Raia said the attack with a rented pickup truck bearing an Islamic State flag also left at least 35 people injured.
