Oil prices tumbled Monday as weak Chinese economic data raised concerns about demand from the world’s top crude importer and the OPEC+ group of major producers faces an output decision later this week.

WTI, the main US contract, fell by five percent to $93.69 per barrel while the international benchmark, Brent, slipped by almost four percent to just under $100.
