An incursion into Russia by Ukrainian fighters that has been reported by Russian authorities in a region near Ukraine was a “terrorist attack”, the Kremlin said Thursday.

“We are talking about a terrorist attack,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters, adding that Russian President Vladimir Putin was being kept “constantly” informed about the situation.
