Russia says ‘destroyed’ saboteurs from Ukraine, capturing soldier

The head of Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) said Monday that Russian security services had eliminated two groups of “saboteurs” that crossed into the country from Ukraine, capturing a serviceman.

“Last night, two groups of saboteurs from the Ukrainian army crossed the Russian border. Following clashes, two groups of saboteurs were destroyed. One Ukrainian soldier was captured,” Alexander Bortnikov said during during a meeting of the Kremlin’s security council chaired by President Vladimir Putin.
