Russia says destroyed 12 Ukrainian missiles headed for Belgorod

Russian air defence systems destroyed a dozen Ukrainian missiles headed for the border city of Belgorod, the governor of the region increasingly targeted by Kyiv said Thursday.

“Twelve aerial targets were downed as they approached the city,” regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on social media, while the defence ministry said the military had downed 12 incoming missiles.
