A Russian jet-powered drone struck a Ukrainian village close to the Polish border earlier Monday, damaging a checkpoint, a regional Ukrainian official said.
“Unfortunately, there was an impact near the border with Poland in the village of Starovoitove… The blast wave damaged the checkpoint building at the entrance to the terminal,” Roman Romaniuk, the acting governor of Ukraine’s western Volyn region, said on Telegram.
