About the impeachment vote, South Korea’s main opposition party is set to put to a vote a motion to impeach President Yoon Suk Yeol over his brief declaration of martial law this Saturday, its spokesperson said.
The vote is scheduled for “5 pm (0800 GMT) on December 14”, Jo Seung-lae, a lawmaker from the main opposition Democratic Party, told AFP Wednesday.
