Many iOS users are annoyed to find that the loop or repeat button has gone missing from the SoundCloud app.
The loop button makes it easy to listen to one’s favorite songs on repeat. But recently SoundCloud has removed that featured for users.
Reports of SoundCloud loop or repeat button missing on iOS
According to reports, the button is no longer present after the recent update and instead displays the ‘Next Up Queue’ feature.
On iOS, it appears that the repeat button has been incorporated into the Queue feature. It will allow users to access everything from one screen.
However, some users are frustrated because they appear to be unaware of the change. This has led them to believe that the repeat feature is no longer available.
One user posted: “I’m so upset about SoundCloud removing the Loop button for a Que button, it’s so much more inconvenient for me now.”
“Give me back my easy loop button @SoundCloud. Seeing this on my screen felt like you removed the loop button. This “see what’s next!” feature is gross,” another user posted.
However, it has only been shifted to the most-requested ‘Next Up queue’ feature.

Repeat button moved into ‘Next Up’ queue on iOS
“We’ve also moved the repeat button on iOS into your queue so you can access it all from the same screen,” Soundcloud announced in an article.
Considering that some are unhappy with the change, it will be interesting to see whether the team returns the button to its previous location.
It’s been over a month since the problem was first reported, and users are still posting about the missing or re-positioned loop button.
In response to a complaint, the SoundCloud team clarified that they’ve changed its position in the UI and stated that they’ll take their feedback into account.
So users will just have to wait until the next update or get used to the new feature.
Earlier, an iOS update also broke the ‘Shuffle’ button on the SoundCloud app.
