Thousands outside Georgia parliament for new pro-EU protest: AFP

Thousands of Georgian pro-EU protesters gathered Tuesday outside parliament in Tbilisi for a sixth consecutive day of mass anti-government demonstrations, despite the country’s prime minister threatening retribution.

An AFP reporter saw protesters filling the square outside the parliament building, waving Georgian flags and some calling for a national strike.
