President Donald Trump said Monday he believed Denmark would “come along” on his plans to purchase Greenland, after he refused to rule out military intervention to bring the territory under US control.
“Greenland is a wonderful place, we need it for international security. I’m sure that Denmark will come along,” Trump told reporters on his return to the Oval Office.
