Former President Donald Trump attended UFC 302 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, on Saturday night, where he declared his intention to end the war in Gaza. Trump received a standing ovation from the audience as they awaited the match between Dustin Poirier and Islam Makhachev for the UFC Lightweight Championship.

While speaking with Khabib Nurmagomedov, a Russian former mixed martial artist, Trump said, “We will stop it. I will stop the war,” responding to Khabib’s comment, “I know you will stop the war in Palestine.”

Trump and Khabib’s discussion about ending the ‘war in Palestine’ was a notable moment at the UFC event.

Trump’s appearance at the UFC event, where he entered with UFC President Dana White and greeted comedian Theo Von, marked one of his first public outings since being convicted of 34 felony counts of falsifying business records. Despite his recent legal issues, the crowd welcomed Trump with thunderous applause, and he shook hands with some fans.
