The judge in Donald Trump’s historic criminal trial told jurors Tuesday they must “set aside personal opinions” as they prepared to begin deliberations.

“You must set aside any personal opinions you have in favor or against the defendant,” said Judge Juan Merchan, who is presiding over the first ever criminal trial of a former US president.
