According to Ukrainian intelligence reports, the Russian aggressors are planning a terrorist attack on the “exclusion zone” in Chornobyl and intend to blame Ukraine.

Officials from Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense reportedly stated, Vladimir Putin has ordered the preparation of a terrorist attack on the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.

The Russian-controlled Chornobyl nuclear power plant intends to create a man-made disaster for which the occupiers will try to shift responsibility to Ukraine, Ukrayinska Pravda reported.

That is, because the military ground operation and direct negotiations are not yielding the desired results, Putin is willing to resort to nuclear blackmail against the international community in exchange for concessions in support of Ukraine, the report added.

“Now, Ukraine, the world, and Russia itself understand that the statements about Ukraine’s involvement in the creation of a nuclear threat are just a staging of a mediocre scenario,” Ukraine officials said.

The plant is currently without power and is not connected to the International Atomic Energy Agency’s (IAEA) monitoring systems.

According to the report, the Russian aggressors refuse to let the Ukrainian repair crew in. Instead, so-called “nuclear energy specialists” from Belarus arrived, but they were actually groups of Russian saboteurs planning a terrorist attack.

Russian invaders are preparing fabricated “evidence” of Ukrainian defenders’ involvement in the terrorist attack for propaganda purposes, the report said.

According to the report, scouts from Ukraine’s Chief Directorate of Intelligence noticed Russian occupiers’ refrigerator cars on the grounds of Antonov airport in Gostomel.

The Russians are collecting the bodies of fallen Ukrainian soldiers to transport them to the Chernobyl nuclear power plant and display them as “killed saboteurs of Ukraine” for propaganda purposes, according to Ukrayinska Pravda report citing Ukrainian intelligence.
