US Treasury yields jumped Thursday, with the 30-year bond yield reaching its highest level since 2007, as oil prices remained elevated while new data showed an uptick in US wholesale inflation.
The yield on the 30-year bond climbed to 5.35 percent shortly after the US government released producer price inflation numbers showing an acceleration in August driven by energy prices.
