Venezuelan Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino said Tuesday that President Nicolas Maduro had the “absolute loyalty and unconditional support” of the armed forces amid protests over his weekend reelection.
Maduro is “our commander in chief, who has been legitimately reelected,” the minister said in a televised message.
