The statement mentioned that a joint team from the ministry and other authorities successfully apprehended the shark. As a precautionary measure, local authorities have imposed a prohibition on swimming, snorkelling, and other water sports activities on several beaches near the location of the attack.

A diver who arrived at the site shortly after the incident stated that individuals rushed to assist the victim upon hearing the alarm raised by a lifeguard from a nearby hotel. Unfortunately, they were unable to reach the victim in time. According to Russia’s TASS news agency, the individual who lost their life was a Russian man born in 1999.
