A massive fire has broken out at Trinimar Hotel in Benicassim, Spain, and we’ve already gotten video from the scene. The video shows black smoke billowing from Trinimar Hotel on the southern beach of Benicassim, Spain.

It was posted on YouTube here. The video was taken from some distance away, so all that can be seen is huge amounts of smoke coming from the area of the hotel.

Two men treated for smoke inhalation

Local media outlets are reporting that two men, ages 20 and 55, have been overcome by smoke at the hotel. They were rescued from the blaze and are being treated at a local hospital for smoke inhalation. A woman is also being treated for anxiety related to the fire.

Firefighters have cordoned off the area. At this time, the cause of the blaze is still under investigation. It’s believed to have started in the kitchen, and the fire has also spread to the parking area. Some vehicles have even caught fire and exploded.

Right after the fire broke out, firefighters mobilized four teams from the Plana Alta and Baix Maestrat Parks. They also called out a team from Castello for reinforcement in the fight against the blaze. The fire is now under control, and the smoke has started to turn white.

The thick smoke that’s permeating the area has attracted lots of attention from people in the general vicinity of the hotel. Many passersby have tried to approach the area cordoned off by the firefighters to get a glimpse of what is going on.
