Wall Street: Tesla shares plunge 8% as Trump and Musk clash

Tesla shares fell sharply on Wall Street, down eight percent, Thursday immediately after a spat erupted between US President Donald Trump and Elon Musk, the electric car company’s CEO.

Trump said he was disappointed by Musk — a former close ally — criticizing his proposed massive spending bill, while Musk slammed Trump for “ingratitude” over the tech tycoon’s support.
