Zelensky says Russia ‘not serious’, still ready for Putin talks

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Russia was “not serious” about peace negotiations, but that he was still ready for direct talks with Vladimir Putin, after the Russian president declined to travel to Turkey.

“Unfortunately, they are not serious enough about the negotiations,” Zelensky told reporters in Ankara, before appealing to Putin: “I am here, we are ready for direct negotiations.”
