Following a double shooting at a Corona movie theatre in California, one person was killed and another was wounded. according to ABC 7 report.
According to ABC 7 Eyewitness News Inland Empire Bureau Chief, “Corona Police say the victims are an 18-year old woman and 19-year old man. The man is still in the hospital. Six tickets were purchased for the movie “The Forever Purge” last night, police need to speak with the other potential witnesses.”
Just before midnight, the shooting occurred at the Regal Edwards Corona Crossings.
At 11:45 p.m. Monday, police were called to the Regal Edwards Corona Crossings movie theatre. Detectives after reaching theatre, were trying to determine whether the victims were shot by a third person or if the shooting was an attempted murder-suicide, according to Cpl. Tobias Kouroubacalis, a Police Department spokesman.
When the shooting occurred, the victims were watching a movie.
Investigators are still on the scene, and the public is asked to avoid the area while the investigation is ongoing.
There has been no word on a motive. The information on suspect(s) is also not available at the time of writing.
