Bongs are a popularly used product in the smoking community. They have been in use for years, and they have been providing people from all walks of life with a new way to smoke.

Bongs offer a unique experience that other methods of smoking don't provide. They deliver a smoother taste while getting you just as high, if not higher than, different methods.

But there are a couple of problems that come with using bongs: constant cleaning and maintenance are among them. You must buy the best bong cleaner solution you can find, and you must clean your bong regularly.

This article will give information on the basics of cleaning and maintaining your bongs.

Basics of Cleaning Your Bong

There are different methods to clean a bong. They all have the same end goal-making sure every part of your bong is as clean as possible. Here are a couple of methods that will help you accomplish that goal:

1) Hot Water Method

The method is done when you want to clean your bong the quickest. All you need is hot water. First, you will fill up your sink with hot water and let it sit in there for about thirty seconds or so before dumping out the water. Repeat this process three times to ensure that all of the dirt and grime has been removed from your bong.

2) Salt Method

Many users choose this method as it is inexpensive and easy to do. All you need is salt, hot water, and a lighter. First, add the salt to the water in your sink until your sink is full of salty water to cover all of the parts of your bong.

Once the level is high enough, set the bong in the sink and let it soak for about an hour. Next, pour out all of the salty water in your sink, rinse off each part with hot water, light salt on fire in a separate container (preferably in a metal pan), and drop it in. Let it burn for about five minutes, then blow out the fire. Repeat that process once more to remove all salt from the bong.

3) Vinegar Method

The method can be done with or without salt. All you need is vinegar, salt (optional),and water. You must fill your sink with hot water and add enough salt to cover all of your bong parts. Once the water is salty enough, set your bong in it and let it soak for about an hour.

Then, pour the water and rinse off each part with hot water. Next, fill a container with vinegar and dump it into a pot that has been put over high heat.

When the vinegar begins to boil, set your bong over the boiling pot and let it sit for about five minutes. Then, remove your bong from the pot and rinse off each part with hot water. Repeat this process one more time to be safe.

4) Bong Cleaning Solution

This option is for those who want something affordable and easy to do. It is essential not to try this with a bong made of glass or any other fragile material because the cleaning solution can eat away at the material.

All you need is water, vinegar, and bong cleaner. Fill up your sink with water and add enough bong cleaner to cover all of the parts of your bong.

Let it soak for thirty minutes, then rinse each part with water until clean. The bong cleaner solution is an acid that will burn the small holes in the parts you are cleaning out, preventing resin from building up in those areas.

Final Thoughts

There are several methods of cleaning a bong, and you can make up your own as well. Just remember to clean your bong regularly (at least once a week) and store it in a safe spot where children and pets cannot get to it.
