Armenia denies its troops present in Karabakh

Armenia on Tuesday denied that its troops were present in the Armenian-populated breakaway region of Nagorno-Karabakh, after Azerbaijan announced it was launching “anti-terror operations” there.

“The Armenian defence ministry has repeatedly stated, and states again, that the Republic of Armenia has no army in Nagorno-Karabakh,” its defence ministry said.
