Armenia PM says ‘no direct threat’ to Karabakh civilians

Azerbaijan rejects Armenia peace talks planned in US

Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Thursday said he did not see an imminent threat to civilians in Nagorno-Karabakh, but if needed Yerevan was ready to receive 40,000 families.

“Today my assessment is that there is no direct threat to Nagorno-Karabakh’s civilian population,” Pashinyan said in a televised address.
