Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky thanked US President Joe Biden for his “unwavering support” for Kyiv during a phone call Monday after US lawmakers approved a $61 billion package of military aid.

“Following the vote in the US House of Representatives, I spoke with Joe Biden, who assured me that he will sign the bill immediately as soon as it is approved by the Senate. I appreciate President Biden’s unwavering support for Ukraine and true global leadership,” Zelensky said in a post on social media.
