Biden says US, Japan, Australia to launch joint air defense network

The United States, Japan and Australia will launch a joint air defense network, US President Joe Biden said Wednesday during a state visit by Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida focused on boosting defense ties against China.

“For the first time, Japan and the United States and Australia will create a network of air missile and defense architecture,” Biden told a joint press conference.
