President Joe Biden said Wednesday the United States should increase domestic oil production to tackle higher pump prices since energy exporter Russia invaded Ukraine.
The energy crunch means Americans “need to responsibly increase US oil production,” Biden said at the White House, while stating the move could be “consistent” with his commitment to steer the country to clean energy use.
