Gazprom seeks to ‘drive up prices’ with Europe gas cut: Germany

Russia’s Gazprom is seeking to push up energy prices with its latest cuts on gas supplies to Europe, Germany’s Economy Minister Robert Habeck said Wednesday.

“It is obviously the strategy to unsettle and drive up prices,” said Habeck in a statement, stressing that “saving energy is the order of the day”.
