If you’re very familiar with smartphones, you’ll agree that the Pixel 11 is a smartphone many people are anticipating today. For now, the giant tech company has yet to announce the device. However, leaks and reports from industry experts are already shedding light on what to expect from the Google Pixel 11.

From powerful AI upgrades to a possible August release, below is everything we know so far about the upcoming Pixel 11.

Google Pixel 11: Expected Release Date

As you already know, Google hasn’t announced the upcoming Pixel models. As such, it’s hard to say precisely when the smartphones will launch. However, based on the company’s release culture, we can easily make a close guess.

Over the past years, Google has moved the launches of its Pixel devices from October to late summer. For instance, the Google Pixel 9 launched on August 22, 2024. The Pixel 10 launched on August 28, 2025. If the company sticks to this recent release schedule, we’ll likely see the Google Pixel 11 launch in August 2026. Some industry experts said Google might launch the device in mid-August, during the “Made by Google” event.

Expected Pricing

None of the leaks we have so far indicated the expected pricing of the upcoming Pixel 11. We guess pricing will be similar to the predecessors. As such, we might see a phone with a starting price of around $799.

As for the Pro, Pro XL, and Pro Fold models, they’re likely to be available at starting prices of $999, $1,199, and $1,799, respectively. A slight price increase might occur due to the ongoing rise in component costs.

Google Pixel 11 Camera

So far, no leak has revealed what to expect from the camera aspect of Pixel 11. However, you can rest assured that the upcoming phones will continue the Pixel tradition by packing amazing camera features. As such, below are a few things we expect:

  • 48MP main sensor
  • 13MP ultra-wide lens
  • 10.8MP telephoto (5x zoom)
  • 10.5MP selfie camera

Furthermore, we expect some real AI enhancements to smartphones. These include:

  • Improved low-light video
  • Improved image processing
  • Advanced cinematic effects

For instance, some reports said the device could come with the 2 nm-built Tensor G6 processor. Rumors have it that this chip may support AI video generation on-device.

As you know, the Pixel 10 brought a few amazing AI camera features, including a Camera Coach, which is sometimes slow. Well, rumors say the upcoming Pixel models may come with upgrades to these camera features. A good feature we can expect is an upgraded Cinematic Blur mode.

Storage and RAM

Our expectations regarding Pixel 11 RAM and storage haven’t changed. We think Google will provide 12GB RAM or more for its Pro models. As for storage capacity, we can always expect 128GB/256GB or even 512GB. However, rumors have it that Google is looking to ditch the 128 GB, making 256GB the starting storage.

Google Pixel 11 Design

We don’t expect Google to make a significant change to the design of the upcoming Pixel models. As such, we still expect the Pixel 11 to maintain Google’s signature design language, just as leaked in some recent renders.

Leaks show that the smartphones will come with a horizontal camera pill. However, unlike the Pixel 10’s camera bar, the iteration is entirely black for the Pixel 11. Furthermore, the renders show that the upcoming models will feature thinner bezels. As such, you can expect the phones to come with flat edges, rounded corners, and a cleaner finish.

Moreover, recent updates claim that the phone’s dimensions would be 152.8 x 72 x 8.5 mm. This means Google is sticking to the same dimensions as the previous model. The only slight difference will be in the thickness of the smartphones.

Display and Performance

Rumors say that the Google Pixel 11 will come with the same 6.3-inch display as the Pixel 10. But we’ll likely get thinner bezels around the display. This will give the phones a more immersive and modern look.

Furthermore, the Pixel 11 may come with an M16 OLED panel. Samsung’s next-generation panel, as noted in a report, will offer:

  • Better color accuracy
  • Higher brightness
  • Improved power efficiency

If this holds, it means the Google Pixel 11 will be the first smartphone to use Samsung’s advanced display technology. Other display features we expect include:

  • 6.3-inch OLED screen for the base model
  • HDR support
  • Enhanced outdoor visibility
  • 120Hz refresh rate or more

One big internal upgrade rumored to be coming with Pixel 11 is the Tensor G6 chip. Built on a 2nm process, this processor could bring faster performance and greater power efficiency. Rumors have it that the Google Pixel 11 could get up to 15% performance increase and efficiency improvements up to 30%.

Battery

For now, we’re unclear about the battery size of the upcoming Pixel models. However, we expect Google to provide some improvements in this area. This suggestion comes because of the new chip and the efficiency that comes with the Pixel 11. The phone is also expected to come with support for Qi2 magnetic charging.

That said, below are a few battery features we expect:

  • 4950mAh battery
  • Faster wireless charging
  • Quicker wired charging (30W)
  • Enhanced power efficiency

Software: Android 17

The Pixel 11 will most likely come with Android 17. As such, we can expect:

  • Latest customization features
  • Enhanced privacy controls
  • Advanced AI integration
  • More advanced pixel-exclusive features

Expected Pixel 11 Lineup

We expect Google to release the following Pixel 11 models:

  • Pixel 11
  • Pixel 11 Pro
  • Pixel 11 Pro XL
  • Pixel 11 Pro Fold

This means Google will certainly keep to its current release strategy.

Conclusion

From the leaks and reports we have so far, it seems Google is only trying to improve its Pixel devices, not reinvent them. As such, the company isn’t throwing out flashy redesign features. Instead, it’s trying to deliver:

  • Better AI features
  • Better battery efficiency
  • Slight hardware upgrades
  • Better user experience

If everything goes as seen, it means the upcoming models will be Google’s most balanced Pixel so far. This also means the Google Pixel 11 is certainly worth waiting for if you plan to make a switch in 2026.
