Hamas denies link to three held in Germany on suspicion of attack plans

Palestinian militant group Hamas on Wednesday denied any connection to three men arrested in Germany on suspicion of planning attacks on Jewish and Israeli sites.

Hamas “has no connection with the individuals arrested today in Germany”, the Islamist group said in a statement, adding the allegations that the detainees had links to Hamas were “completely unfounded”.
