Iran on Thursday slammed “interference” in its internal affairs by France after it voiced support for protests over the death of young Kurdish woman Mahsa Amini in morality police custody.
Tehran summoned France’s charge d’affaires and said it “rejects and strongly condemns the interference of the French foreign ministry and some French officials in Iran’s internal affairs by using false interpretations,” said a foreign ministry statement.
