Kremlin says does not expect better Russia-Poland ties after nationalist election win

The Kremlin said Tuesday that it did not expect the victory of nationalist Karol Nawrocki in Poland’s presidential elections to lead to better ties between Moscow and Warsaw.

“We can’t expect a politician to come to power with a broader political vision that could prompt a reconsideration as to the normalisation of relations with their neighbours, including Russia.”
