LIVE: Watch Jeff Bezos go to space in Blue Origin rocket

The world’s richest man, Jeff Bezos, is about to embark on a supersonic joyride to the edge of space.

Jeff Bezos will be aboard Blue Origin’s New Shepard rocket, along with female aviation pioneer Wally Funk, 82, his brother Mark Bezos, and 18-year-old Oliver Daemen, a physics student from the Netherlands whose father won an auction for a seat on the private spacecraft’s inaugural crewed flight.

We have embedded a livestream video of the launch, which you can watch right here. The rocket will launch from a remote West Texas launch pad at approximately 9 a.m. EDT/6 a.m. PDT. The broadcast begins at 7:30 a.m. EDT/4:30 a.m. PDT. The launch site is not open to the public for viewing.
