French President Emmanuel Macron urged Prime Minister Viktor Orban on Friday to “behave like a European” after the Hungarian leader vetoed a 50-billion-euro EU funding package for Ukraine.

Macron said that EU leaders had heard out Orban with respect but that “this respect implies responsibilities” and thus that Orban “behaves like a European and does not take political progress hostage”.
