Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador on Thursday criticized a plan announced by the United States to extend the wall along the border between the two countries as a “setback.”
“It does not solve the problem. We must address the causes” of migration, Lopez Obrador told reporters shortly before meeting visiting US Secretary of State Antony Blinken at the National Palace.
