Billionaire activist investor Nelson Peltz intends to cast his vote for Donald Trump, expressing apprehension about President Biden’s mental state, which he described as “really scary,” as per FT’s report on Tuesday.

Peltz, who shares the same age as Biden at 81, prioritized concerns about Biden’s mental fitness over any misgivings he may have about Trump’s involvement in the January 6 attacks on the US Capitol.

“It will probably be Trump and I’m not happy about that,” he remarked to the Financial Times during an interview in Palm Beach, Florida, referring to the 77-year-old GOP frontrunner.

The founder of the $10 billion investment firm Trian Partners also highlighted his worries about the immigration crisis under Biden, stating that the nation was “degrading.”

Although Peltz may lean towards voting for Trump, he has not yet determined whether he will provide financial support for the former president.

He also told the outlet that he hasn’t spoken to Trump, who is his neighbor in Palm Beach, “in quite a while.”
