Several hurt in two separate train derailments in Switzerland: police

Several people have been hurt in two separate train derailments, both in northwestern Switzerland, north of the capital Bern, police said Friday.

In one incident, the rear carriages of a train derailed, while the other derailment took place around 40 kilometres away, with a Bern canton police spokeswoman telling AFP: “There are injuries in both trains”, adding that police, firefighters and ambulance workers were still at the scene.
